I’m not a food blogger or a trained chef. This isn’t a a real food blog. It is, however, a collection of recipes that I cook regularly for my family. Years ago, I would make something that my wife really liked. Always eager to please, I’d make it again some time later. And then I might often get, “It doesn’t taste quite like last time.” And to which I would usually have to admit, “I didn’t remember how I made it.” So, I did the only logical thing. I started writing everything down. I first kept notes in a notebook and then decided to use some software to create a digital version. That made things both more manageable and less manageable at the same time. It did start to solidify the way I write my recipes, however. Eventually, people started asking me for my reipes. I needed a good way to give them out. Emailing documents just wasn’t very efficient and as I’ve improved my techniques over the years, some of my recipes have improved as well. After a lot of trial and error, this website was born. Now, I just give out the web address to anyone who asks for a recipe. There aren’t a lot of recipes here, but what is here tends to be things that I either cook regularly or maybe don’t want to forget what I did.
