Side Dishes
Side dishes. Although sometimes they can just be a main course. I’m not judging.
Cranberry Sauce

Whole cranberries, sugar and spices. It really doesn’t get much easier or much more delicious than this.

I know canned cranberry sauce is a staple for a lot of tables at Thanksgiving time. For me, however, anything canned pales in comparison to making it fresh. This recipe is pretty simple and provides a really nice cranberry sauce.

Refried Beans

This may not be a traditional recipe, but they make a great addition to taco night, either as a side dish or as a base ingredient in tacos.

Macaroni and Cheese

As with most kids, my son’s favorite dish is macaroni and cheese. It’s generally a favorite among most of my family. This version uses processed cheese to make it quick and easy, with a little block/shredded cheese for extra flavor. It’s an easy, tasty side dish that goes great with just about everything.

Spicy Cream Cheese and Cheddar Dip

A cold cream cheese and cheddar dip with a touch of spicy cheyenne pepper. Perfect for spreading on crackers or tortilla chips. Great for parties.
